Actions of patronage and solidarity are in a coherent framework within the Group Castel CSR policy. Employee volunteerism is part of a company’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy which supports the CSR Pillar on supporting local communities.
It involves employees donating their time and skills to support social causes that will benefit the community.
Employee volunteering can bring numerous benefits both to the employees and a company such as enhancing employee engagement, morale, skills, and reputation with stakeholders externally.
Employer-supported volunteerism is defined as the active support, through a variety of means, for employees volunteering with charitable organizations.
